Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday October 28, 2023 at Wiebe Funeral Chapel, Morden with ash interment prior at Hillside Cemetery. Donations may be made in Wayne's memory to STARS.

Wayne Douglas Krushel, aged 77 of Morden, MB passed away peacefully on Thursday October 19,2023 with his wife, Maria, son, Christopher, daughter, Dana, and brother, Murray by his side.
Wayne was born to Walter and Ruth (nee Wiebe) Krushel, on May 1, 1946 at the Bethel Hospital in Winkler. He was the eldest of 3 sons. Wayne was a talented workman with a vast amount of mechanical knowledge and impeccable welding skills which he displayed while using the renowned LKS welder, manufactured by his family. Wayne was the industrious business owner of Dura Fold Doors where he manufactured bifold doors for airplane hangers. Later in life he took on a position at Sperling Industries where he continued to design and manufacture anything that was required of him.
Wayne’s kind personality and enjoyment of good conversation gave him the opportunity to enjoy the blessings of friendships and relationships. In the homes of friends and family members or at his favourite restaurant Chicken Chef, Wayne delighted in a good meal and a cup of coffee while engaging in meaningful interactions. Wayne loved hearing about what his children and grandchildren were up to. When listening to the latest updates, engaging in conversations with them or watching them play, Wayne glowed, and a proud smile illuminated his face, basking in those moments and soaking it all in. He was always there to cheer his family on, support them and radiate his love to them.
Wayne is survived by his wife Maria Wall, his two children, Dana (Ryan) and Christopher (Lili), and by four grandchildren, Matthew (Janessa), Jenaya, Mia and Daniel. He is also survived by his brothers Murray (Audrey) and Garry (Anita), along with his nieces and nephews. Wayne was predeceased by his parents, Ruth and Walter.
Wayne’s family will host a celebration of life service on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wiebe Funeral Chapel in Morden. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to a charity close to Wayne’s heart, STARS, in Wayne’s name.
